Salem, Massachusetts

If you have never been to Salem, take the time to visit during October. It is a fun place. I loved it. Everyone is happy and dressed in costumes. There is plenty of things to do from the Witch Trial Histories and Museums galore including a pirate one. There are two haunted houses also. The cemetery you need reservations to get in, but the women accused of witchcraft are not in there anyway. They were not allowed by the Puritans to be buried on “Holy” ground. Instead, they have a plaque with their name on it outside the cemetery. After they were hung on a tree and left to rot for a time, they were thrown into a pit on Gallows Hill.
