Have you noticed that your balance is off? Those that have scoliosis and have problems with their joints may notice this problem. To lower your risk of falls and to improve your balance, try this exercise. Hold onto the back of a chair for support and rise up on the balls of your feet. Hold for 5 seconds. Lower your heels to the floor. Work up to 3 sets of 10 each day. Another exercise is to stand on 1 leg for a full minute. You may hold onto a counter until your balance improves.
