Moving through the Scottish Borders on a bus isn’t the ideal way to see it for sure.  However, sometimes in traveling you have to do the best you can with the time you have available.  Sure, I would have preferred to rent a car and take about a week driving around at my own pace, but a day out on a bus at least allowed me to see it during a free day I had sandwiched between work obligations.

And from a moving bus, photographs don’t often come out their best as there are…challenges.  Of course the motion of the bus is an obvious one, but the tinted windows are another, as well as a limited range of motion due to being crammed in next to another passenger.  You also have to always be looking ahead, down the road, to see what might be coming up so you can be…
