Update on Immunizations

Here is an updated recommended list of immunizations for children through teen years.

Hepatitis B recommended now for infants at birth, 2 months, and 12 months. Rotovirus given at 2 months, 4 months, and 6 months. Diptheria, tetanus, and pertussis combo given at 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, then again between 4-6 years of age, and last between 11-12 years of age. Hepatitis A given between 12-15 months, 19-23 months, and  last after two years old. The Human papillomavirus is given between 9-10 years and 11-12 years old. Haemophilius type b starts at 2 months, then 4 months, 6 months, between 12-15 months and last between 6-18 years. Inactivated poliovirus at 2 months, 4 months, then between 6 months through 18 months, and again between 4-6 years of age. The measles, mumps, and rubella or MMR is given at age 12 months and again at age 4-6 years of age. Varicella recommended at age12 months and again between 4-6 years. Pneumococcal conjugate or PCV13 at 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, between 12-15 months and last during school age. Menningococcal ACWY recommended between 2 months through 18 months, then again at ages 11-12 and 16-18.
