Shield Against Winter’s Harshness

Here is a simple softner for your skin. All you need are:  1 slice of lemon, 1 cup of boiling water, 1 T. oats, 1 ripe banana, 1/2 T. almond oil or olive oil, 1/2 T. glycerin. Place the lemon in the cup of water and steep for 1/2 hour. Mix 4 T. of lemon water into a bowl with the oats. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Mash the banana and add it to the oat mixture. Add the glycerin and almond or olive oil. Have a plastic bag ready. Depending on if you want your hands or feet softened, coat the extremity you selected with the mixture. Cover with the plastic bag. After 10 minutes, rinse off.
