If you’re a dog owner, you know they can get quite ripe at times. Here is a simple shampoo recipe to make your dog feel and smell much better.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup plain liquid soap such as castile
1/4 cup distilled water
5 drops of Patchouli essential oil
10 drops of Cinnamon essential oil
10 drops of Lavender essential oil
1/4 cup witch hazel
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Using a funnel, pour the blend into a bottle with a flip top lid. Place your dog in the bath tub and rinse off his coat first, then apply shampoo. If your dog has fleas, try adding cedar essential oil instead of the cinnamon. Soap up his coat well. Then rinse off.
