If you ever wanted to know how to make those solid perfumes of old, here is the recipe. It’s very simple. You will need:
2 tsp grated beeswax
3 tsp Almond oil
1 tsp essential oil
In a double boiler, place the beeswax and almond oil together in the top pot. In the bottom pot, fill halfway or a little less of water. Place the double boiler on the stove and heat on low. When the beeswax has melted, remove from the heat. Add the essential oil. Stir lightly. Pour the concoction into your containers and allow to solidify. This recipe fills three 1.5 containers. To use: rub your finger around the top of the perfume, then onto your wrist or behind your ear.
